Carl H. Sadowsky, MD, FAAN, attended the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City, NY, where he received his medical degree. Then, he completed his internship, an internal medicine residency, and a neurology residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire, where he served as chief resident. Following his training, he served as an US Air Force Major and Chief of Neurology at the US Air Force Hospital in Wiesbaden, Germany (1976-1979). In addition, Dr. Sadowsky received board certification in neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN). Prior to medical school, Dr. Sadowsky acquired a Summa Cum Laude BS degree in Biochemistry at SUNY at Stonybrook. Over the years, he was honored with the On-Time Doctor Award (2018) and Patients’ Choice Award (2018) by vitals.com. A highly respected presenter and an extensively published author in peer reviewed journals, Dr. Sadowsky has been an active participant in trials evaluating the safety and efficacy of various cholinesterase inhibitors in the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD).
